Put several banks under one account

By default each bank gets its own account in your chart of accounts. If you'd rather report several banks together, for example two checking accounts under one Bank line, choose an existing bank account in Chart of account when you create the bank.

  • Leave it blank to keep the bank on its own.

  • Each bank still has its own card, transactions and statements. Only your reports group them.

  • You can't change this later, so decide before you click Submit.

You can also start from the chart of accounts. Go to Chart of Accounts, click ⋮ on a bank account, and choose Create a bank. The new bank will use that account.

Add many banks at once

  1. Click Add new bank → Import.

  2. Click Download template (XLSX) and fill in one row per bank.

  3. Upload the file (CSV, XLS or XLSX, up to 500 rows and 20 MB), then click Analyze. Check the preview and confirm.

Turn on sync or delete a bank

Click ⋮ (Bank account actions) on a bank's card:

  • Enable Sync connects the bank so new transactions arrive automatically. See Connect your bank for automatic sync.

  • Delete removes the bank.

Tips

  • Get the opening balance right. If the Tyms balance doesn't match your bank later, the opening balance is the usual cause.

  • Tyms Pay wallets appear here automatically. They show Manage wallet instead of Upload statement.
